Islamorada is one of the prettiest places in Florida I have ever visited. Half way between Miami and Key West, this tiny key has a laid back island vibe, crystal blue water, delicious food and plenty of things to do. It’s claim to fame is fishing which I have never been interested in, but it was an epic place I would recommend traveling to nonetheless! Many other things are easily accessible while in Islamorada if you are also not into fishing such as jet skiing, swimming with dolphins and other wild life or attending the shows at “Theater of the Sea”, snorkeling and boating – just to name a few. Islamorada is also a wonderful place to go if you are looking for a relaxing getaway since it definitely has a slower paced way of life and friendly locals.
