The nights the Barcelona family and I slept out on the beach under the stars were always epic.
The men would create a bonfire to cook over and then we would all jump in the salty sea. We made music and danced. We put our sleeping bags close and talk about things that mattered. The family consisted of youth from
Portugal, Israel, Brazil, France,Venezuela, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Finland & one other American from California…
so our conversations were full of different points of view and varied topics.
Sometime around early morning we would pass out with our belongings in the middle of the close circle we made with our sleeping bags to make sure that the pick-pocketers stayed away. In the morning, we woke and again jumped in the sea. We spent a few days at a time living this way… beautiful, peaceful times those were.

Hello! So sorry for such a late response. I took a long break from working on the blog and didn’t see this comment!
I am new to this type of writing, so I am not the best person to ask. However, for the writing I have done, I have found that writing an outline instead of just writing down whatever comes to mind works best for me. As far as centering yourself and clearing your mind, I make sure that I am in a comfortable atmosphere.. make some tea, do some yoga beforehand so that your body is not distracting with any uncomfortable aches or pains while you attempt to write and just let the thoughts flow after first creating an outline. You can go back and edit later! I hope this was somewhat helpful! If i were you, I would ask someone who is more professional, and please – let me know what they say! I need help too! 🙂
All my best!

First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick
question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Cheers!
